Starting this weekend: Message Series through the letter from James; early church leader and Jesus’ half brother
Many people who have been turned off from church claim it is because of Christian hypocrites from thier past and current lives. While many of us know that no one is perfect, there is also a valid claim within these statements. We all know that far too often, some people do not practice what they preach and many are left in the wake.
This is not a new problem as we find in the letter of James in the New Testment. Here, James addresses pressing, spiritual issues such as genuine religion (did you know that God defines that word different than most of us think?), genuine faith, and genuine wisdom.
In our study of this letter, we will explore these topics and more as each of us continue to thrive to be “One Less Hypocrite”.
