I picked up this book because I had a little time to pass before an event I was going to that evening. By the time I was done with the first couple chapters, I decided to put off the event and finish the book. It is a great read.

This book deals with the intellectual struggles several might deal with that keep them from the knowledge of and a relationship with the Lord.

If you know of someone struggling with faith, please, check out this book. It might e a great resource to start some communication with them.

I received a copy of this book for free from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

At that point, the church was struggling financially, feeling the pain of separation of close friends, and the outreach to the community around us came to a halt as we pulled in to communicate and love through the healing of the group. It was a very challenging time but they do come and God does lead us through them.

This is the start of a new message series called “Jesus, Friend of Sinners” that goes through 2 Corinthians. This opening message talks about the importance of bringing 100% truth and 100% love into any relationship, conversation, and our outreach. Our pastor dives into the extremes of several of the sides of the “Chick-fil-a” debate which covers homosexuality and same gender marriage. His views tends to make those on the extreme views of both the GLBT community and conservative Christians frustrated at times so please bring a healthy dose of love, patience, and understanding to this study.
