I’m currently watching “Finding Neverland” during my morning workout time. There was one conversation in the movie that jumped out at me.

While feeling horrible after suffering a miserable response to their latest play , the author and the producer have this conversation.

Producer: They changed it on us, you know. The critics. They made it important.

What’s it called?

Author: Play?

Producer: Play.

When children of God struggle with guilt after committing a sin or falling down again.

Christian Friend: They changed it on us, you know. Those people in your past. They made it hard.

What’s it called?

You: Mercy?

Christian Friend: Mercy.

“ButGod, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2: 4-9

As Christians, we believe in the spiritual but at the same time, that truth is hard for some to understand. This problem is compounded when we are afraid or unwilling to educate ourselves in the Word of the spiritual realm around us.

In this study, we dive into spiritual warfare, which impacts our world daily. It is a longer study but after an hour investment, you will have deeper understanding of the interplay as well as feel more comfortable with this part of our existence.

Some of the key topics we cover in this study:

– The players within the spiritual realm (God, angels, Satan, demons, and us)
– How do we prepare for spiritual warfare which is in our lives either way
– What does spiritual warfare look like in the Bible
– What about the freaky stuff (demons, ghosts, and the like)
– What about the day to day spiritual warfare (temptation, guilt and the like)
– Why all this shouldn’t freak me out
– Opening our eyes to the victory!

This is also an overview that may introduce a topic you want to know more about. If so, feel free to learn more through your studies in the Word, get books to go deeper, or touch base with us and we will help you any way we can.

Blessings!

” For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6: 12
